Terms & Conditions — Dump-It Dumpster Rentals & Affiliates
By purchasing a Dump-It Dumpster Rentals product or service, you ("Customer") agree to the terms below. These terms form a legally binding service agreement between Customer and Dump-It Dumpster Rentals ("Dump-It") and have the same force and effect as a signed service agreement.
WASTE MATERIAL
The Customer represents and warrants that the materials placed in the equipment shall be "waste material" as defined herein and contain no other substances. The term "waste material" as used in these Terms & Conditions means solid waste generated by the Customer, excluding radioactive, volatile, highly flammable, explosive, biomedical, infectious, toxic, or hazardous material. The term "hazardous material" includes, but is not limited to, any amount of waste listed or characterized as hazardous by the United States Environmental Protection Agency or any state agency under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976, as amended or applicable by law. Title to and liability for any waste excluded above remain with the Customer, and the Customer expressly agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Dump-It from and against any damages, penalties, fines, and liabilities resulting from or arising out of such excluded waste.
LITHIUM-ION BATTERY DISPOSAL BAN
Lithium-ion batteries (and devices containing them) are legally prohibited from disposal under RSA 149-M:27, II. As of July 1, 2025, New Hampshire requires households and businesses to recycle lithium-ion batteries rather than throw them away (NHDES guidance). These batteries can ignite when crushed or compacted, posing serious danger to workers, equipment, and disposal facilities. Your responsibility: ensure that no lithium-ion batteries or battery-powered devices (tools, electronics, e-bikes, laptops, etc.) are placed in trash, demo debris, or mixed loads.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
Other prohibited items include, but are not limited to: liquids, solvents, chemicals, Freon, batteries, paint cans (unless the paint is dry), hot ashes or embers, biohazards, medical waste, asbestos, lead-painted materials, and equipment containing gas or oil. Some items are accepted for an added disposal fee — see Service Charges & Item Fees below.
INSPECTION AND REJECTION OF PROHIBITED WASTE
Title to and liability for prohibited waste remain with the Customer at all times. Dump-It has the right to inspect, analyze, and/or test any waste delivered by the Customer, and to reject prohibited waste at any time.
CONTAINER USE, WEIGHT & LOAD LIMITS
Approved Materials — 6-Yard Container Only
Aggregate service is provided in our 6-yard container only. Approved materials are concrete, brick, asphalt, stone, gravel, dirt, and masonry debris. No other container size may be used for aggregate.
Customer Responsibility for Contents
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that only approved materials are placed in the container. If prohibited materials, mixed debris, household waste, construction debris, hazardous materials, or other unauthorized items are found in the dumpster, additional disposal, sorting, transportation, and administrative fees may apply.
Mixed or Contaminated Loads
The rental price includes disposal of the advertised aggregate weight only. Loads containing unapproved mixed material are charged at $0.15 per pound, with no weight included in the price.
Included Weight & Load Limits
- 6-yard (aggregate only) — 6,000 lbs included
- 10-yard — 2,000 lbs included
- 15-yard — 3,000 lbs included
- 20-yard — 4,000 lbs included
- 25-yard — 4,500 lbs included
Additional weight is billed at $0.10 per pound. In no event may any container be loaded with debris weighing 8,000 lbs or more.
Overloaded or Unsafe Containers
If a container is overloaded, loaded above the top rail, contains prohibited materials, or is unsafe to transport, the Customer must remove the excess or unauthorized material before pickup. Additional trip charges may apply if a return visit is required.
Additional Charges
Dump-It reserves the right to assess additional charges for contamination, prohibited materials, overweight loads, or any costs incurred as a result of non-compliance with these terms.
RENTAL PERIOD & DAILY RATES
Standard rentals (10-yard and larger) include up to 10 days on site. After day 10, a daily rental charge of $5 per day applies until pickup. 6-yard rentals include up to 4 days on site. After day 4, a daily rental charge of $15 per day applies until pickup. The delivery day counts as day 1. Daily rental charges are billed to the card on file. No refunds or discounts are given for early pickup.
PAYMENT, FAILED PAYMENTS & PAST-DUE BALANCES
Payment is due at the time of booking. Additional charges — daily rental, additional weight, item fees, and any other charges under these terms — are billed to the Customer's card on file as they are incurred.
If a payment fails, we will notify the Customer and re-attempt the card. A failed-payment fee of $25 applies to each failed charge not resolved within 7 days.
No further deliveries, swaps, or scheduled services will be provided while any balance is past due.
Balances more than 30 days past due are subject to a late charge of 1.5% per month (18% per year) or the maximum permitted by law, whichever is less. The Customer is responsible for reasonable costs of collection, including collection-agency fees and reasonable attorney's fees, to the extent permitted by law. Dump-It reserves all rights and remedies available under New Hampshire law.

EQUIPMENT CARE
The container remains Dump-It's property, and the Customer agrees to take reasonable care of it. The Customer may not move the container; call Dump-It to have it moved and avoid damage and repair costs. Any damage to, movement of, or loss of the container will be charged to the Customer, with repairs billed at market rate. All claims arising from the Customer's improper use of the container, or from access the Customer allows to others, are the Customer's sole responsibility, including damages, injuries, wrongful death, suits, penalties, and fines. The Customer is responsible for keeping the container secure until Dump-It picks it up. Leaving the site unattended does not excuse liability or charges for contamination or overages.
SITE ACCESS, DRIVEWAYS & PROPERTY
Delivery trucks and containers, empty or loaded, are extremely heavy. The Customer warrants that the access route and placement location provided are sufficient to bear the weight of all equipment and vehicles required to perform the service, for both delivery and pickup. Dump-It shall not be responsible for damage to pavement or accompanying sub-surfaces, or to any route reasonably necessary to perform the contracted services, and shall not be liable for damage to utilities, property, lawns, yards, fences, or shrubbery.
EVENTS BEYOND OUR CONTROL
Dump-It will make every reasonable effort to deliver and pick up as scheduled. Dump-It is not liable for delays or failures caused by forces of nature, strikes, legal requirements, blocked or inhibited access, or other causes beyond its reasonable control, or where proceeding would compromise the safety of its equipment or staff.
